The Importance of Regular Veterinary Check-ups
Regular veterinary check-ups are one of the most important aspects of caring for a pet. Many owners believe that the vet only needs to be visited when the animal is ill, but this is a misconception.
Preventive check-ups allow the veterinary surgeon to detect potential health problems at an early stage, before they become serious. This includes checking the teeth, weight, heart function, blood pressure and many other indicators.
We recommend that all pets are examined at least once a year. Older animals or those with chronic conditions may need more frequent visits.
Remember that prevention is always better and cheaper than treatment!
