About me
Dr. Georgiev was born in Sofia. He graduated from the University of Forestry in Sofia in 2002. He is part of the team of Veterinary clinic “Blue cross” from its start.
Professional interests: orthopaedics and traumatology, abdominal and thoracic surgery, panelist.
Dr. Borislav Georgiev is internationally acknowledged specialist in canine hip and elbow dysplaia.
Attendee of the WSAVA World Congress in Dublin in 2008.
In 2009 in Dortmund, Germany he received a diploma as an expert in canine hip dysplasia (CHP), after he took an examination before leading specialists of the GRSK (The German association of the Radiologists for hereditary diseases of small animal skeleton). This organization is a leader in the x-ray searches, diagnostics and therapy of the congenital diseases of small animal skeleton.
In 2010 he received a diploma as an expert in elbow dysplasia from the GRSK.
Dr. Georgiev and his assistants are the first who made a total hip replacement of dog in Bulgaria.
