Can You Pay for Veterinary Procedures in Instalments?
Fees should ideally be paid at the time the service is provided, as with most professional services — a dentist, a solicitor and so on.
The best option is to call the veterinary clinic whose services you intend to use in advance and ask about the available payment methods.
Most owners have a regular veterinary surgeon who would be willing to defer payment for their regular clients. In emergencies and for new clients, the funds required for treatment are usually determined at the first visit and the available options are discussed.
We advise you to keep a reserve budget for unexpected veterinary expenses — your pet’s health may require a swift response.
