Should I be wary of a suspiciously cheap vet practice?
There is a minimum set of conditions for working with animals that the veterinary regulatory authorities require. There is also a minimum of medical materials, consumables and equipment needed to practise the profession.
When you notice significant differences, it is worth asking in detail about the kind of treatment you are being offered. If the prices are much lower than at the other clinics you have visited, you cannot expect a high level of service.
Remember: your pet deserves quality care. Choosing a vet is a long-term decision — it is important to trust a practice that has the necessary equipment, qualified specialists and suitable conditions for working with animals.
